Having played with it briefly myself, this phone is amazing! The video on my post, http://www.galido.net/blog/index.php/coolblog/2009/12/14/jingle-bells-played-backwards was captured by this particular phone.
Has great potential to beat the iPhone. Google's new "Nexus One" Smartphone is Andriod-based, so now's the time to start developing your own Android apps as they are said to work on this phone! Said to be sold unlocked by Google themselves so that you can use with any GSM carrier.

Invented by NEC Corp and NEC Design Ltd. with the prototype cost of $30,000, the future of computers can possibly be re-shaped. The concept entails the integration of a computer into a pen. NEC designers call it a “Pen-style Personal Networking Gadget Package.”
P-ISM is a “pen-computer” package including five functions: a pen-style cellular phone with a handwriting data input, virtual keyboard, a very small projector, camera scanner, and personal ID key with cashless pass function. P-ISMs are connected with one another through short-range wireless technology. The whole set is also connected to the Internet through the cellular phone function. This personal gadget in a minimalist pen style enables the ultimate ubiquitous computing.
This news has been out for a couple years now, but it is fascinating and I could not resist reposting it:
