I went to the one in Los Angeles and got a a bunch of shirts, visual studio 08, sql server 08, windows server 08 (think its a trial though) and vista ultimate (full version w sp1),

It's a sad year for hardcore gamers and those who've never been to the convention when the e3 association announced that e3expo would henceforth be cancelled. The reason? Game makers weren't getting the returns they were expecting after spending millions of dollars on their exhibits for the show.
